Wow, this is really something different — and I’m always up for games that break the fourth wall. The gameplay is very arcadey and a lot of fun, kind of gives me Sonic vibes with the gears. I would’ve loved a button to drop down (though maybe I just missed it). Really awesome experience with tons of potential. The character design is super unique :D but fits the setting perfectly, and that spin animation is wild. Cool little game with a nice twist at the end!

That was really cool the ending was awesome, and I liked how it had a special animation when you re opened the game. That said there is some jank with the player controller and while one the ladders/bars it's possible to move past the gears without collecting them, same with moving too but it didn't happen consistently. The camera aspect is a little cramped so level design should take that into account as well. Just something to look into to polish the game cause this was pretty cool, and I could so it going somewhere with more polish in a bigger release.

WOW! This game is absolutely amazing, it's so creepy. The music was probably created by the musician banging his head on the buttons. The ending just... It scared me. When the glass started breaking, I was just surprised, but when I thought the game was already off and the music started playing, oh my god... YOU definitely know how to scare me! I don't think the game fits the parasitism theme very well, but it's still a fantastic piece of work! 5/5

OKAY SO. I played this and I LOVE the level design. It screams of old-school SNES platformers and the pacing is really good. The visuals are fun (some darker areas I struggled with, think a gamma slider would help that a lot) but the environments are really unique. Sound is great, as are the story beats. I won't give much away but the cracks at the end did get me, haha. I had a bit of trouble with getting the gears, I think it's because sometimes when you move along a beam it goes a little too far and you have to sort of backtrack/wiggle to pick a gear up. Not really a problem though. I'd actually definitely play more of this, especially if there's further lore/story. I think your best points are level design and pacing.
