The audio design is amazing, I really loved it.

The game design is smart: with just a few elements you managed to create a very playable experience. The only thing I didn’t enjoy as much were the minigames based on randomness instead of memory. For example, I feel like the gun minigame should have been the final one, because it creates a pretty heavy barrier and can discourage players after many failed attempts. Same for the dice game ; after about 20 tries without winning once, I stopped playing.

That said, there’s something about pixel art that makes horror especially intriguing, and you used it extremely well.

To me, you’re one of the potential winners of this Jam. Thank you for your work, and for teaching us something in the process!

Thank you very much for the comment, it is really appreciated!
Yeah, I can  100% relate to your comment, when I was testing it I lowered the attempts per game to one, but I wanted the final game to have 3 per each "station".
When the game jam was extended one day, I added the pause menu and I tried to also add a "easy mode", which you would enable for the next respawn (only one attempt per station), but I came accross a few issues and could not add it to the submission :( Have you seen the endings? If not I can record them and add it to the game entry as a spoiler for those where the random is too random.
Again, thank you very much for playing! :)

Sadly didn't make it to the end, but please do, even in private, i will gladly see!

Hi, I recorded and uploaded both endings to Youtube.
I have added them to the game's page for you or any person interested to watch it: https://neverfeeder.itch.io/liberation
Thank you and wish you a great day! :)

Seen it and loved it. The scene composition after leaving the rails really gives you a " wow " moment.

For now is the game I liked the most in this Jam.

Are you a solo dev or it was teamwork?
