Today's pixel art is based on the video game X-Com Enemy Unknown for IBM PC MS DoS. It's a well-known game about aliens. It has a mysterious, even sometimes frightening atmosphere. And indeed. When you first land there, you never know where the enemy is. And this is a tactical role-playing game. And you have to be careful with every move. There are aliens everywhere. But they're all hidden. Be careful! They can seize the initiative and make their move from the shadows!
And this is my drawing based on X-Com Enemy Unknown (MS DoS). You're on a team of underwater toads. You have gray diving suits. And you're exploring the seabed. The Kthudhians are here. Underwater swimming monsters like octopuses and squids. But they're actually aliens. They've been living underwater for a long time. It's just that no one knew about it yet. Your squad is an underwater expedition. They've been exposed.
You've just been attacked by their tentacles and underwater ray beams. Yes, they have some kind of underwater lasers. Your huge submarine has crashed. And the entire crew is urgently landing right on the bottom. The underwater toads are beginning their first mission!
