this scratched the spot if you like action-thriller/revenge movies like equalizer, beekeeper and john wick. like yess loving it when they go apeshit over losing (literally) people close to them that’s their only worth connection to their normalcy and sanity.

had to say mr. red here was valid though, detective kinda deserving what came his way since he took those moments with his family for granted. but on the other hand, i get the feeling of having to finish this one thing so it could get out of the way, distancing with it away from the important thing and rather be safe than sorry when the threat was right behind your back.. neither was a win-win so it just left you this one miserable void. i’d hope all of that in the story was just some bad dream, premonition to teach him a lesson or something. i think it would create a more stable attachment to the characters if the flow of story were slower, things escalated quickly for sure. anyway, also cool to hear that two opposing characters were voiced by same one voice actor.

thank you so much, I am so happy you enjoyed it!! this story was heavily inspired into those themes, Detective Gray's story holds a huge weight on his shoulders, the guilt, the pain, his loss but specially his rage is let out on everyone else as a result of it. I love the way you justify Mr.Red, he has his reasons for wanting to keep what his enterprise does a secret (which will be revealed in the update). And you might be surprised at who is mentioned there too hehe. I like the idea of making a more stable attachment for the characters, I am adding more to that early on so when this all happens it hits in a deeper level. It actually didn't expect that part of this all being a bad dream, it's actually a good idea, as if he woke up and had to make a choice between the case or his family. Would he choose right? Only time will tell :3
