Oh wow I enjoyed playing your game a lot! Feels somewhat like super meat boy or even Celeste :)
I think you nailed the character control - it's really pleasant to navigate this black and white world. Maybe only the wall jumps are a bit janky, but I managed to work around them haha.
In terms of level design, I'd avoid situations where player has to yolo jump into nothingness and hope for the best - I think you better show the destination platform and obstacles on screen when the player is about to jump off the last platform.
Nonetheless, really great submission, one of my favorites in this jam!
This was a fun game. Good level design and character controller!
Really cool game, music is very minecrafty!
For a first Unity project at your age this is impressive!
ASs a 17yrs old dev starting at this age is pretty impressive keep up the good woek!
I like your first game. I wish I had started at your age.
Congrats on your first game jam! Not falling was a bit tricky, but hey that's the point of platformers.
Really cool game. I got the trail that the player leaves behind. If I had to critique ya on something, I'd probably be that the wall climbing is pretty janky and hard to control.
thanks! the wall climb is just my jump but with a ground check on the side, so its like 1 of the only things i didn't use a tutorial on because i want to test and learn from mistakes lol, I'm a very young first time dev.
Love that you're doing gamejams at your age!
thanks! I've been playing games since a very young age but now i learned i can make them, so I'm doing that and following my dream of being a youtuber and game dev
