Got the windows version, aside from slowdown which i expect as my pc is old, everything worked fine outside of the side potions that i see the opponent use (i got some red bubbles on me (i assume i would get 2 levels of size if it was red but they got me a blue one), are those to be added later or its a bug?

Also some of the characters sprites can only be seen from your POV when choosing to give the potion or fattening up, while others overflow to the table, it might be intended as some have different sizes even at max but felt best to let you know.

As for the future content, for me, just adding dialogue can add so much life, specially if everyone has different lines when choosing correctly or winning and losing, so i look foward the most to that one.

Its a cute game with a diverse cast that should make everyone happy. Really glad to have given it a go.

Happy you enjoyed it! And I agree about the dialogue system. When it was suggested to me I thought it would be a great thing to try so looking forward to seeing what I can do with it!

As for your questions, the potion thing is a UX issue. The small red potions skips a turn and the red bubbles are just meant to indicate the player is going to be skipping their next turn. I am not really happy about the color so thinking about changing that up when I add some more usable items into the game. Currently there are only 3:

  1. Reveal - See a potions type
  2. Lethargy (the red one) - Skip Turn
  3. Switcheroo - Switch a potion’s type

As for the POVs that is the default POV view and is a limitation from reusing the same sprites with some camera tricks. The ones that overflow the table or block the camera are from artists who wanted to make some custom POV sprites instead of using the default ones. I can see how that would result in some confusion though

I gave a new try and was able to select the side potions but only during the moment to choose who gets the potion and it has the description as well, i was trying to do it before choosing a potion to give.

For personal preference, i prefer the POV to be filled with belly as your character expands but with the belly getting over the table and getting below the side potions i can see it being tricky to manage. Still good job on this and forgot to wish a happy halloween.
