Note: It took some time for me to get back around to finishing comments on the jam games. Pardon the late comment!
I enjoyed this puzzler quite a lot! The puzzle formula alone is fascinating on its own, especially with how smoothly the game plays. However, it goes above and beyond with not only fitting it into the contest theme, but also tailor-making a fun short story that's executed to perfection with Hisami.
The art style is also fun to look at as always. I can tell that you really enjoy drawing characters - and the other visual elements (background, text, etc.) also convey that particular "fun" style.
Overall, I had an excellent experience with this one. Thank you so much for making these - and good luck with your Super Beast World project, too! (^∇^)
Fantastic job as always.
can i go to hell pleaseee
honestly this game PUMMELED me when i first tried playing it, but after actually taking a while to mentally recover i had a great time figuring out the puzzles! the game is completely overflowing with charm like any other woah_maaan submission in past jams, and even though these types of open-ended logic puzzles aren’t my favorite, said charm really dragged me in. the whole thing became a lot more enjoyable once it hit me that the ghosts were always split into groups of 3/2 or 5 based on their likes and dislikes, so i knew ahead of time what each box would need to focus on and could work on getting it there. actually, that’s probably what made me enjoy it, since it was something concrete to hold on to. not much on the negative side, but it was a bit annoying how you didn’t have to use every doll near the end despite the previous pattern, and the music was servicable and not at all bad but didn’t stand out among the rest of the content. ended up finding solutions to get the full 4200 points in the end, and it was worth it for all the fun cutscenes! and also just because it was fun. nice use of the theme, too, just as the cherry on top. thanks maaan!
ngl, if anyone tells me the perfect game doesn’t exist, I’ll just point them to this one to prove otherwise.
Silly game that made me do silly things like think.
I had a lot of fun working towards the best ending. If Hisami had an emote for "this is the optimal solution" that would be nice, though it may defeat the purpose of the puzzle.
This was really fun! For a game that seems so basic at first glance the increase in complexity as you do harder levels was fun to experience, even if it had to make me think a little.
One thing I do wish this had was a basic save system, though mainly cause I wanted to watch the cutscenes a bit easier after playing; It has a lot of charm, and I can tell you really enjoyed making this!
Fun game. Call it a wild hunch, but is your favorite touhou Hisami?
Darn ghosts, just try to fit in anywhere I say! Who cares if the place is equally as cheap as it is cool? Aaaaaah!!
Okay so... That was a pretty neat idea for a game. I'm certain sound design isn't exactly your forte but that could've used more work. I couldn't completely understand the game but I at least passed the first level after tinkering around with it. (Cut me some slack, it's 7 in the morning :P )
I liked what I played tho, the art was very cute and the concept is very interesting, I love sorting things...
10/10 would play again
