I dig the concept of this game! I like how you have to scare one away, while attracting the other as you do so, requiring some strategy. The monster designs were great and so was the level.
At first I thought that hiding would work on both, but it seems like the one you have to scare away always knows where you are and doesn't leave until you do.
The one thing I found to be problematic and potentially game breaking is throwing the keys. While it seems that hiding isn't really necessary most of the time, it does require you to throw the key first, only for the key to clip through the ground or the walls a lot of the times, completely ruining the run. Perhaps it would have been smarter to simply just store them in the inventory and have them removed once used, or just adding the drop function. Also, the notes were quite hard to read with the monster being so active. Pausing the game would've worked just fine for that.
That aside, very nice game!
