what link of support for creator are valid in itch.io

I recently discovered that SubscribeStar can take years to validate accounts. This made me wonder if there are alternatives. To no one's surprise, there are alternatives for creators 18+, at least for now. But I don't know how well they're viewed on itch.io. So I'm asking the community: What's your experience with alternative membership links?

Examples: Onlyfans, Housefly, pixivFANBox, X/Twitter (now that they have memberships), etc.

Well, at least the lack of response from the "moderation team" tells me that, in principle, there are no problems with the examples I provided.

You typically will not get an official answer here. This is the community message boards. Not tech support. And the moderators can only cite faqs and experience to you. Also, you asked other members in your text how well that advertisement worked and not for an "official" stance on links to external sites. (That's maybe lost in translation. You probably meant allowed with valid.)

I am not aware of any bans on promoting any of your socials. Including creator support sites. Itch is as liberal as it can get with that.

Some common sense should apply of course. Creating a sfw page that links to adults only content for example. Or linking to sites that host malicious advertisements and such. It should be obvious that that's a bad idea.

What redonihunter said. In the past our admins have been okay with people posting custom links to third-party services on their creator profiles and project pages, but I'm not sure about any specific website. Maybe other creators can tell you how it worked out for them.
