Does this update need a NEW game? I loaded an old Auto after updating, and then got a black screen when I left North Port, just after the scene on the deck of the boat.
If its a very old autosave, it could be a problem. You should be able to test it really quickly by choosing chapter select (5) --> talk to Town Hall --> go north.
When I tested it, there's a slight pause, and then it fades in normally.
