This was such a short, sweet and surprisingly touching game. Leading the first ghost to its correct family & seeing the marigold petals really felt special. Everything related to the presentation was on point, and fit together well. Great choice of music as well! If only the game also fit in thematically with the "cozy fall" vibes :(

As for my feedback, I can give a couple of minor suggestions; but the game stands on it's own just fine without them:

  • There is a mausoleum in the top left section of the map that ghosts can walk behind, but the camera doesn't adapt, so you can't see yourself behind it
  • It would have been more thematically consistent for the playable ghost to return back to its own grave and/or family
  • After finishing the game & clicking quit, it froze; my parameters, if it helps: Firefox, web build, fullscreen

All in all, you did a splendid job!

Thank you for the feedback ! There is so much I want to improve in this game, and your feedback comforts me in what I have in mind. For the finish I do wanted to go on this way, but I had an animation in mind I couldn't do in only a weekend (I'm mostly a dev and animations take so much time for me !). So I went with the easy end and will probably change it in the future.
I also forgot to disable the quit button made for PC and Android version...
Too bad you don't feel the cozy fall theme in my game. I thought I was on point about that. I would love to know what didn't feel right about it.
Thanks again for playing my game and for your feedback !

You’re welcome! I’ll try to clarify what I mean by the “cozy fall vibes”. Perhaps it’s a cultural difference, but to me ghosts in a cemetery are a lot more appropriate to Halloween, which is not something I or others around me celebrate. So it feels very disconnected from autumn. With the risk of being too pedantic, your game feels more like a “cozy spooky” game - given the setting (cemetery) and props (ghosts, graves, bones). But it’s feedback from one person only. Perhaps people closer to your geographical region identify more strongly to this in the context of fall as a season.

Thank you to clarify. Indeed, I didn't think about it this way. I knew going for cemetary vibe would be risky and I tried not to go into spooky by going more into the latino version of halloween, Dia de los muertos, where it is more about celebrating the people we lost in a happy way. But I can understand not everybody can see it this way. Still very happy you enjoyed my game !
