I was so ready for there to be a jumpscare, and then there were none, and I was kinda relieved, because I don't like jumpscares, but also kinda disappointed, because I felt like the actual resolution of the story was not satisfying for all the buildup and tension that was before. I really appreciate the work put into sprites, sounds, and overall visual aesthetics. The flashlight trick is cool, the spritework is very impressive, if it was one of the priorities of the project, it really shows. It feels like there are all the elements for a tense and interesting horror experience, but the whole thing is just somewhat undercooked. With that said, I hope this will not discourage you, the game is still quite impressive for a jam entry, and has some solid elements.

Thank you for the feedback and for playing our game.

The time constraints we had (work, colleges etc) had us only be able address the game usually on evenings. Because of our limited time we emphasized a lot on the atmosphere, levels, animations, sprites and mostly being as bug-free as possible . We had a lot of ideas to move forward if we had more time, we saw great potential to make an interesting game.

We plan to address all issues in future patches or releases in the future. And do not worry, you aren't discouraging us; every constructive feedback is useful!
