you already have a separate demo page, now. there's NO reason to "remove the paid build" for any length of time.
and checking, no files on this page are available for access.
You're right man. I'm sorry. I brought the older version's files back just for you.
Keep in mind the new scene is still only present on the DEMO page and the paid page will only be updated next week. When the additional content is ready.
And you're right, I do have the responsibility to keep the latest version available to purchasers....

Definitely doesn't host the latest version of the game or anything.
this might sound crazy to you, but this is not about the latest content or whatever. i know you're probably used to comment goblins screaming for updates.... that's not my point.
my point is that i've paid money, and this page should never, at any time, tell me "the author has not made any files available for download."
as for not updating this page, that's your prerogative, but it really shows what you think of the people who have already given you money to not update the paid downloads to point to the new demo /when it is ready./
you assume wrong because I've been able to download all of last week, the week before, etc. Etc.
There is a download link at the top. I use itch regularly and have always been able to download the game even as of when the original post was made.
I've regularly keep up with itch. io games, especially after the payment processors issues.

and yes, the link at the very top of the page is just the method i was referencing. when i made my post, the page that link lands you on said "sorry, the author has not made any files available yet."
perhaps you're missing "the paid version has been removed for the time being." posted by the dev.
then the dev telling me he added them back.
you do not have to lie to kick it, my fiend. i would not have posted anything in the first place if there were no interruption in file availability.
Pretty sure it was removed from being purchase not download. Cause like I said I've been able to download it since forever.
Idk what to tell you either because you sound like you just want to complain. This download genuinely never disappeared from my download library.

that you understand is of no matter. the dev knew what i was talking about and remedied the situation.
no one said anything about things being removed from the library. i even confirmed in the last post that i was talking about the files available for download.
i'll spell it out for you in plain english:
the dev decided to remove the files for download that we purchased, planning to replace them sometime this week with the updated demo.
this means that the title would still be in your inventory, but when you click "download," the page you are directed to would inform you "the author has not made any files available for download yet."
i complained, and the dev replaced the old files, which presumably will be replaced later this week. i was satisfied with this outcome.
then you barge in telling me that the files were always there.
and the final point informs me you were not aware that a title could be in your library but not have any files available to download. keep that in mind for the future.
