Hello! Sorry if you were having trouble. There is a guide system in the game. If you hover over an objective in the book, a little tooltip will appear explaining what you have to do for puzzles.
There will be another puzzle in the next update. So if you get stuck again, you can figure it out from there.

The door next to the staircase thats on the right of the bedroom. Its a little confusing atm cuz its a Temporary door until the backyard entrance is finished.
There was a text box letting people know about the temporary door, before the hangout quest triggers, but ill have to double check to see if its still there. I might have accidentally gotten rid of it.
Eventaully there will be a proper pop-up with pictures showing you where it is.
After completing the new content, some known visual issues went under the radar for the donator period of the latest version involving the left hallway and the backyard door. A bed-sleep soft lock was also discovered as well. A bug fix will release soon bringing the latest version to 0.1.13b upon completion.

Most of the mainline quest gameplay will consist of puzzle/detective-esque interactions in the environment. The most I can promise for censorship would be the ability to skip it in later versions.

As far as I'm aware, if you paid the minimum donation amount for when the early access came out last update, you should still have the game in your itch library. If you open the game download page through your library you should be able to get access to the latest build at the same time that the Patreon shareholders get it.
I may have found the culprit for this issue. Thank you for being the first person to point this out. There will be another patch sometime tomorrow that will address this and some other things my testers have found.
