I could play the web version, its a interesting small puzzle, would have liked to see more
I would make it so the camera is either lower or you can crouch or something to see the hints/numbers better i felt the looking angle was a bit weird and made it hard to for example put in the code in the keypad
Thanks for playing and the input. Wish I had time to create more, will definitely be expanding on this in the future. Thanks for the input, will be looking into that.
I played the web version. It's pretty good - I would be interested in paying it again if you added more puzzles.
I think the "look around" movement with the mouse is kind of too fast.
At first I thought the code on the TV said "TA" and wasn't sure what that meant. ha ha
Minor bug - After the code displays on the TV, if you click the dial it goes away and you can't get it back.
Thanks for the excellent feedback. I'll slow the mouse down a bit. Also, the code going away was a programming choice. I was thinking it would signify the game was over and nothing more was coming from the TV. But it never occurred to me that someone may not remember it and need to go back to it. So I am going to treat it as a "bug" and adjust that.
Freedooooom :)
it was short but a nice Idea.
Thanks, appreciate the play. The statues were supposed to be the second puzzle but I just couldn't get the logic right. After a day and a half I just gave up.
Tried playing it, figured out how to interact with things and switch between input modes. Solved the puzzle with candles but after that I just had no ideas on what to do next with the strange picture on the screen.
Anyway, congratulations on submitting the full game for the jam, seems like it’s your first one!
The recommendation is - if something on your way feels super hard to implement, consider working it around. Make it exist, you can make it look good later, that’s what the people are saying lately on gamedev socials:)
Cheers!
Thanks for the feedback. That's the only puzzle in the game, the 74 was the code to get you out the gate.
