Update: To be absolutely certain and treat this seriously, I ran the previous version (v0.55) as well as v0.56 through VirusTotal, an anti-virus scanner.
On VirusTotal, 0 out of 62 security vendors have flagged anything malicious, so it appears to be a false positive flagged by Microsoft Defender. Attached the results below:

It’s a false positive triggered by Defender’s AI pattern matching, not a confirmed infection.
