The music was so intense lol! It reminded me alot of the old final fantasy games, which is a really good thing. I would have loved a bit more content or a few more levels. Good job!
Thanks! I used free assets for the music and credited the author in the main menu but felt like it really fitted the game. I'm hoping to eventually be able to add more content to it in the future but ran out of time in the game jam due to having work during the week days

Should defiently add a fullscreen option. The concept is so great with the Greek mythology inspiration. The overall movement felt really good too being so fast. The game is a bit short though wish there was more to do after you killed medusa a couple times. Still great work though!

That was quite fun, the character animations were super unique and I loved the overall style! The different character abilities made for interesting changes in playstyle. Overall good job and congrats on your first GWJ submission!
I had fun playing xD It was rewarding to figure out the correct attack timing, and dodge the petrification cone as Achilles. I also thought the character sprites were funny/cool.
You can attack diagonally!!
Also took me a bit to realize you can sprint xD.
Some sound effects for attacks/hits/petrify etc would add a lot!

Interesting game idea though I'm not sure how to feel about being instantly separated from Medusa right after hitting her once.
thanks for the feedback and yeah totally understand I was trying to solve an issue of being able to get in a position where you could just spam attack without fear of getting hit
Good intuition. While the solution here isn't all that ideal, it's great you went out of your way to solve that problem. Back when I used to design games, you could absolutely demolish everything in one go. Congrats on the submission.
