Very nice visuals. Super catchy music that only got better the longer I listened to it.
But the gameplay really surprised me. At first all I saw was a short single-screen arcade game. However, two twists:
1) The upgrade system is full of interesting choices.
2) The use of the currency as ammunition makes for some key decisions during the action round. Is it more advantageous to take a hit, rather than sacrifice a pumpkin? What if I line up two skulls in a row, would it be worth it then?
One small bug--when the same sound effect plays multiple times simultaneously, it wigs out a little. This happens if you drop 4-5 pumpkins into the cauldron at once.
