Well done. It's a solid little top-down shooter a la Hotline Miami or Police Stories. The graphics are detailed (though very zoomed out), the sound creates an atmosphere of utter dread, the controls are responsive.

Like those other games however it is also very, very difficult. Using one-hit kills is brutal because you only allow the player a single mistake. In the jam context it might be helpful to err on the side of leniency just to give the others an opportunity to see more of your game.

The original plan included checkpoints but I couldn't get them worked out in time for the deadline. Thank you for playing, I definitely recommend playing in fullscreen.

Fixed the viewport size so it shouldn't be so zoomed out now.

I was using fullscreen anyway. What I meant is that the camera size is really large.

This has the advantage of giving the player more situational awareness, but at the same time it means the graphics are all very small. It's a tradeoff.

Oh I see. Thank you! Might mess around with a few settings and see if I can find a happy medium after the jam.
