thank you so much for playing. I agree with you. I have an update planned to add checkpoints and hopefully that will help yo offset the difficulty a bit.

thank you for playing. I have an update planned that should include the checkpoint system.

This is great! love the needle mechanics!!

currently working on a checkpoints system that didn't make it before the jam deadline. That should make the difficulty much more bearable since you will only have to clear 1 area at a time and not the entire level. Thank you for playing. I really appreciate it.

I waited for the bus to come. and then the shadows came. lol interesting experience. thank you for making it.

Cool spin on the genre. I like the notgameboy design.

pretty cool arcade game. nice work!

Great video, valid critiques as well. Thanks for understanding that it is a jam game and everything just simply can't be done in 7 days. Liked and subscribed my friend.

I appreciate you my dude.

I really appreciate you man. Hopefully this project goes on to bring a bit of joy to as many people as possible.

Hey thank you man. Hopefully the first update for this should include checkpoints. That should make it a bit less punishing.

making games on a calculator is next level.

I would play a full release of this. great job. it looks awesome!

thanks for playing, yeah checkpoints are a universally wanted update. 😆

Man the Angler fish had me anxious. lmao good job!

Thank you! definite plans to look into all of the information gathered here so I greatly appreciate any and all feedback.

Thank you so much for playing! we will be working of both balances for difficulty settings and implementing checkpoints. The flashlight will likely see improvements, though Gamemaker is severely lacking when it comes to things like lighting systems.

I could learn from that example. 🤣

I loved the atmosphere, if it weren't for marker mode I would be so lost. Generator scared the crap out of me. 😄

Love this feedback. Thanks for playing. watching you play was awesome.

Thank you for playing. The light is by design due to the difficulty level. Solid feedback.

Thanks so much for playing!

Loved the blur effect as your health goes down and the art style. Great submission.

Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback. I struggle sometimes when playing games that aren't in my norm, so I understand and appreciate you finding something to like in my work.

I love the atmosphere you created. Took a second to work out the movement controls, but they werent complicated to understand.

Looks great, 32 pumpkins, great job!

Nice game. I like the lean when straffing.

The price is steep for all who hand out cheap candy. lol. nice concept.

This was great fun! Nice voice acting!

I like the climbing mechanic. wonky but fun.

Cannibal simulator is great!!

https://ted-awesomesauce.itch.io/subsume It is pretty challenging. hope you get a chance to play it.

This is peak story telling. Great job!!

I tried to have checkpoints up and running before the deadline. I do plan on adding them in.

Not a problem man. I really enjoyed your game.

Thank you for playing man. I really appreciate it.

That is likely why. Maybe i'll look into forcing the window size. thank you for that feedback. Edit: there is an ammo count, it is outside of the left of your screen I believe.

Interesting. seams like it was zoomed in for you. I hadn't had that feedback from anyone else. what kind of monitor do you have/ what resolution are you running it at.?  check and make sure you don't have browser zoom turned on. as that can sometimes cause an issue.

I love Black Jack so points there. Mechanic felt decent to play. graphics are well creepy.
