It must have been the atmosphere and the survival mechanics, but you somehow managed to capture that same feeling i get when i play silent hill games where i hope that the next door i encounter is locked so that I have to manage one less room to search through and get surprise attacked by some monster. This was a very fun and even the small detail of adding an auto-save after entering a new section made it enjoyable to play all the way through

Thanks for playing, and I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Yes, the original three Silent Hill games were my major inspirations.
My original vision (which I had to scope down) involved a lot more exploration and backtracking, but eventually I decided that I just didn't have time to make that work effectively.
