Balance is always the hardest part. By the end of the week I had played the game an estimated 45 quadrillion times, so it seemed trivially easy. But then I remembered that every jam game is always too hard, so I bumped up the player's health from 5 to 8 and the healing power of health kits from 2 to 3. 

Just imagine how much more nightmarish the game was before that change. 🤪 In a post-jam edition I might add multiple difficulty levels.

found the addition of grandees by the end funny as well

Sigh. I had many weapons planned out: sniper rifle, machine pistol... I was forced to scale back the scope because it was NOT manageable in a week.
