This is honestly such a brilliant submission. Lines like "the builder and the poet working together" after looking in the notebook really hit me strongly. There's clearly a lot of love poured into this game and it is executed near perfectly. The only issue I can see is the amount of external assets, but it so beautifully hits the nail on the head in so many ways I don't think that should matter. Definitely my favourite submission.

Thanks so much for playing and for the thoughtful feedback! I completely get what you mean about the external assets — I’d love to be able to make all the art and music myself someday. For now, they just helped me get the story out the way I imagined it. I’m really happy to hear it still connected the way I hoped it would.
