Ah I spent far too long figuring out how to get out of the first room, but I think when I did the impressiveness of the game dawned on me - this is a great achievement particularly in such a short timeframe. 

What a beautifully drawn piece of work and the writing was great too. I struggled to solve the ciphers without just spamming letters on my keyboard though, but I may just have misunderstood something. 

Really beautiful music and I think the concept is really cute. Great job! :)

I might have missed something but I couldn't really find what I was supposed to be doing, so I couldn't quite get far enough in to rate the emotional side of things, but I thought the main character & their animation looked pretty cool and there was definitely something to the ambience that began to remind me of games like INSIDE, so good job on that front!

You know I started off thinking this was a kind of funny but ultimately not that engaging game. But then it grew on me... and kept growing. It ended up being quite a surreal experience, but one that I have to say really knew what it was trying to achieve and executed it very well. Loved the scene transitions and the overall concept. Great job on this!

This is honestly such a brilliant submission. Lines like "the builder and the poet working together" after looking in the notebook really hit me strongly. There's clearly a lot of love poured into this game and it is executed near perfectly. The only issue I can see is the amount of external assets, but it so beautifully hits the nail on the head in so many ways I don't think that should matter. Definitely my favourite submission. 

Couldn't get past the ledge jump section, so I didn't really know how to rate emotional part, but I do love the character and the smooth controls!

All downloads on https://broth.itch.ovh are broken.

This means that the steps to install butler here: https://itch.io/docs/butler/installing.html are not currently working.

This affects all github action build pipelines that involve uploading to itch through butler, and prevents downloading of the itch desktop app.

I'm unsure if this is related but my latest web game build never progresses beyond "Loading game for the first time...", so I'm wondering if some tool used to unzip web projects is also broken, but possibly unrelated.

Thanks! I do plan to fix both those things with a future update as well as some balancing on the infinite scaling, just too much work to fit into the 3 days D: But thanks for playing! 

Was quite difficult at the start but quickly got used to the controls. Honestly really like how it controls now and the mechanic is clever and well balanced. I think a highscore system would be a great add, could be quite addictive I think!

Sort of got Limbo vibes which is one of my favourite games. Really liked the unique mechanic when collecting stars and getting more fish. The background is gorgeous too!
