Haven't gotten around to playing yet, but I'm noticing that the DLC backgrounds are smaller are smaller than the base game, and aren't covering the whole screen on my phone.
Yes. Please redownload and reinstall the DLC as the background optimisation required me to change a few things in the background scenes.
