The Electron Paradox
Description
This is a 2D puzzle-platformer where the player controls an electron inside a computer case under repair.
The gameplay takes place across two main layers, and the player can switch between them to solve challenges and progress.
Players can move, jump, dash, and attack, while dealing with various instabilities caused by the unstable computer environment — such as reversed inputs, camera shakes, and automatic layer switching.
Energy and health bars, a green portal as the level’s goal, and save points for respawning add depth to the gameplay.
Enemies are other atoms and electrons that become hostile when the player enters their orbit.

i had fun with this game , great work
and the timing for changing slide was very challenging XD!
i had so much fun playing this one.
good job on everything !
Thanks a lot! I'm happy to hear you had fun — it means a lot 🙏
The idea is honestly great. Some really genius puzzles can come out of this and the art style is very cute. (I think you guys used a bit of AI too right?)
I would really enjoy this game if the movement mechanics were a bit more fluid. It was difficult to get around. The "instability" that was introduced every now and then also caught me off guard and I didn't really have time to get familiar with it before it disappeared. But the take was very interesting, similar to RUO which I played a bit before this game.
With a movement rework and some polish, I think this game has potential. Congrats to its developers out there :)
Thank you so much for your feedback! 🙏
Yes, I used a bit of AI to help with the design since I made the whole game by myself.
I adjusted the challenges based on player feedback — honestly, some parts are even hard for me too 😅
As for the movement smoothness, you’re right. Some features changed along the way, so I didn’t have enough time to fix everything properly. I’ll definitely work on improving that in the next update.
First of all, you should be really proud of yourself for being so kind to take constructive criticism for your game.
It's a pleasure to see lovely developers like you! Thank you for making the game and making it better.
I really appreciate that, thank you so much! 🙏
Feedback like yours keeps me motivated to make the game even better.
