wondering about the ratings.

I'm gonna start off by saying that I'm not complaining about my score. I had a lot of fun this Jam and am very happy with how I placed. I am a little curious about the ratings I recieved however. I noticed that when I hover over the rating distribution percentage, that I got 5 one stars, the same number of criteria. It could've come from several reviews and I wouldn't be mad about that; if someone didn't like an aspect of my game and believed that it deserved one star than yeah, go for it. I'm just wondering if at some point someone went through a whole bunch of games (mine included) and gave them all 1 stars to bump down the total scores/ranks. I don't know if this is a common occurence in game jams, or if its just nothing at all. has anyone else thought about or encountered somthing like this during this or any other jam? let me know your thoughts.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun making my game and seeing what others made. I look forward to seeing if there will be another jam in the future.

It's bound to happen with this kind of voting system but at least if you have a lot of votes it has little effect.

100% people have already been caught doing that, its tricky when WERE the ones voting, since we also wanna do well, some bad actors will intentionally do 1 star bombing just to get their game ranked, and with the main thing being a big youtuber playing your game, promoting you? yeah, def alot of rigging and intentional fake reviews

really sucks, were proud with our score, just something we kinda knew was gonna happen one way or another
