I figured out the tech was to just always perform down attacks so that I could dodge all the pumpkins' attacks - this feels unintentional. I got the hang of movement with down attack up force pretty quick but I can for sure see it being really challenging for others so it probably needs a little tweaking. I can see future (if you're going down that route) updates having more variations on map design / movement types - so far you've got chained down attacking jumps and dashing so maybe wall jumping or a scythe grappling hook could be cool!
But the sprites and animations are well made and you've got the start of something cool going!

Hey, thank you so much for your really cool review and detailed feedback, that's amazing since we're in a hurry in this final hour of the rating period, really appreciate you took the time to do a review to my game, I'm planning to work more in this game, and I totally agree with what you have said,I have to give a better reason to the player fight the pumpkins beside the enjoyment of a combat, the way it is right now, the player can just run across the pumpkins lol
