Just finished, and I want to say that it wonderfully captures the weirdness you'd find in the darkest depths of an old NES game.  Also, I'd love the soundtrack!  Is there somewhere I can buy it?

Thank you, that's a huge compliment :)! The soundtrack is available on Steam now, but I should be able to host it on itch as well! Let me try to do that this morning.

Okay! I just included it on this itch.io bundle as well if you pay $1 more (I'm giving these proceeds to the original composers). Let me know if that works (hopefully you'll just have to pay an extra dollar if you've already bought the game).

For anyone else going back in for it, I couldn't figure it out, but I bought the game on sale, and for something this good, I didn't mind paying it again; I'll give the second "copy" to a friend or something.  Thank you so much for adding it here, too!  This old lady doesn't like DRM, so Steam wouldn't have been an ideal solution for me, but I really appreciate your going the extra mile.

Ah, I'm sorry that just paying an extra dollar didn't work, if you had let me know I could have just you the zip file directly, but I am flattered that you were willing to pay again!

By the way, I just saw your review, thank you so much! Which boss fight in particular did you find most frustrating? I'm working on a larger update/DLC to the game, and I was thinking of revisiting the bosses and maybe add alternative ways to get past them to be less action-required.

It was the boss of Tadpole Bog; I don't know if it was my loadout (feather fall and air walk) or what, but it seemed a little overly difficult to get out of the way quickly enough.  The win came from what felt like a lucky perfect run, but I still probably could've just come back after increasing my health more.

That's great feedback, thank you! I've made it so there's a little more time between him wrapping back through the screen to charge at you again, and I'm going to take a little more time to look at the Bosses a bit more holistically before the next big update too. Thank you!
