Your cover art/title screen is adorable!!

Great use of the theme! With deaths clearing up the visual as it goes on; noticing that kept me going!

Getting in some last minute ratings, so I did have to quit after like death 6 and still not making it out. Checkpoints would be good, and broadcasting the deadends a little earlier, emphasizing the advantage of the clearer vision once you can read those signs, would be perfect. I didn't play deaths 7-9, so I don't know HOW clear it gets or if additional text or hints can be read on the signs as it clears further.

I reached the area with the still ghosts and the sign that said "Don't look back." Being different from the rest of the dungeon seems to signal being on track to the end, but I kept running into deadends and decided to search elsewhere. Was I in the right area as the environment would suggest, or was it just a neat little spot in the dungeon where the ghosts hang out? Asking as, if that is on the way to the ending area, I think it was a good way to nod to the player that they're heading in the right direction.

The little ghosts scared me right into a trap the first time, charging at me like that. XD

Loved the soundtrack and love the idea of having to die to see.

Although wouldve loved if those campfires served as checkpoints.

I liked the concept a lot, though I did get stuck in the maze for ages and cursed the devs lol. I did finally rescue the kitten with five lives. I think some hints on where to go would be good. I assumed the ghosts were hints or the fireplaces, but ended up just walking around till I tripped over the ending. Very cute and solid music choices. I loved the mechanics of the land of the dead getting clearer as you lose lives. Really great work, you should be proud.

this was SO CUTE i love the evolution of it as you die and the puzzles for it!!

Having death improve your senses and even give you the ability to read is a cool mechanic. Checkpoints would have been nice. Although it was cool to see the opening areas in better detail after a few deaths, it did get a little tedious having to go back through them again if you made a mistake, and some of those wrong paths really let you go a long way before you hit a dead end. Kinda cool to have them clearly marked once your eyes clear enough to read, though. Not bad.

I'm not sure how much this effected my run, but the first fire I interacted with gave me an error so I was pretty afraid to try them going forward. (I'm using safari btw).  That being said I'm glad I got that error so I can now say, holy crap I didn't realize this was in rpg maker at all haha.  You really put this together in a way that made it truly your own and I know how hard that can be.  Super awesome work on that!

Thank you! I tested the bonfire on my iPhone (no Mac here) and didn't get an error. Could you let me know what the error message was, ideally with a screenshot? Also, were you playing on a PC, phone, or tablet? I'd like to try and fix it!😭

Well I tried to do it again while eating dinner but it didn't give me any error screen this time.  The only thing I can really think of is that I had lower lives earlier today.  But this time I was very familiar with the path and had full lives.   No idea if that would really have any effect on it but I don't really have the time to test it repeatedly either unfortunately.  I was playing on a laptop though.

Thanks so much for checking that again, even over dinner! It doesn't seem to be related to the HP. Many thanks for the info!
