The feel of the tracks is great, but I think both tracks could've used a bit of wetness/reverb to some of the sounds to give them a real sense of a big space where they are playing, for example in Waves dancing in the night the santoor is really dry and feels like its in a separate space from the rest of the sounds.

I felt that having a really wet spatial sound to these, like something Jeremy Soule usually has, could make these feel even better than they already are (or just my subjective feeling 😉)

Good work!

I definitely agree with you there with the reverb. specifically with the Santoor just feeling like it doesn't belong. Since I often just don't get to actual fine tuning in mixing, because of my old friend procrastination, my tracks often tend to lack that and I really should try making my tracks a bit more complete in that department. Thanks for criticising stuff like this!

i suffered from that for a long time too 😂 (and still do..)

Setting up a template project where i had reverb and buss tracks all setup for all the sounds i use helped me a lot with that, since i can mostly just focus on the actually fun composing part😄
