I found the start to be a bit hard to listen to, but that is definitely very subjective and just because it's not what I would usually listen to. Then, however, it evolved into something I can really only describe as pleasing and generally so nice, so great job! I think the end is very creative, maybe a bit out of the blue and throughout the track, there is not much happening melodically (not that it needs to) and, as pointed out in another comment, more bass would be nice. In its entirety, I wish I was that good, keep it up!

I definitely agree with you there with the reverb. specifically with the Santoor just feeling like it doesn't belong. Since I often just don't get to actual fine tuning in mixing, because of my old friend procrastination, my tracks often tend to lack that and I really should try making my tracks a bit more complete in that department. Thanks for criticising stuff like this!

Yeah, I really need to upload this stuff somewhere, I'll be doing that going forward.  The piano was supposed to be rather warm but I agree that I should have found a better balance there and the muddy feeling was also just a bit too muddy listening to it again. Thanks for pointing stuff like this out, always a nice treat seeing what I can do better!

Thanks for the feedback! I wanted Sorrowful Departure to be longer but didn't get to that anymore (I suck at time management) and regarding the chord progressions, I'd wager that I don't really know what I'm doing at all but if it happens to sound nice, then that's nice, so I'm glad you like it.

Thanks, i definitely agree with you there! I don’t yet have any external plugins so i make do with the stock plugins, which, especially for strings, is not exactly optimal. I’m glad that my implementation of the themes is perceived as interesting, thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, i can see that. Like i mentioned while replying to his comment, it should have deserved more attention and your points are right what it needed. I appreciate the feedback!

Much appreciated! I can see how the sun mountain’s call is perceived like that though; it was indeed rather rushed, especially the ending. I would have loved giving it a bit more love but procrastination is my best friend.

Thank you! I don’t really know what i’m doing but if it’s received like that then it must be somewhat decent :)

Thanks! As far as i know i didn’t actually use a tabla (though i contemplated doing so), however, since my method is essentially random bs go, i wouldn’t be surprised if that actually was there.
