Thank you so much for... your essay of an answer! xD

Yes, I recommed using Bakin if you're familiar with RPG Maker. You dont need to write code at all, you can do almost anything you can come up with using events. If you know how to code, you can also write your own scripts. It's a very powerful tool, I made my own assets and went with a low-poly artstyle because it's less time consuming. You can go crazy with normal maps, lighting and physics if you wanted. I have over 3000hrs of experience using it and I've been growing my own library of 3d models and stuff. This is the 8th jam I've participated in. There's a demo version on steam if you want to check it out.

I'm really glad you enjoyed exploring, other people had issues getting lost or with the camera. This game really needs a map or some sort of direction. But like you said, only 5 days. I wanted to have unique areas for the septiceyes but that was all I managed to complete. I didn't want to spend that long on the map.

I'm going for a n64/ps2/DS artsyle, but I havent gotten there yet. I'm stuck in an uncanny valley between n64 and gamecube. Some models are too smooth or too detailed to be from a n64 game.

The houses dont have accurate collision, i just used cubes, and forgot to add it to one of them lol

Again, thank you so much for your feedback, I'm really happy you enjoyed my game. I'll keep trying to improve to make better games in the future!
