I like the concept of this as well as the art and the music. Unfortunately, something about the control scheme just didn't click with me, and I couldn't get past the third level due to trouble with the inputs. The vertical dash was a bit finicky, sometimes it would use my dash but I wouldn't ascend at all, or I'd only ascend a few pixels. One time I had two dashes and somehow it used both of them to do two vertical dashes in a row. I also had trouble with the timing on the respawn, maybe allowing the player to hang in the air a bit before doing a respawn jump could help, because I just instantly plummeted and lost my opportunity to jump.

The funny thing is, I was actually aware of these bugs, but we just didn't have enough time to fix 'em before we had to submit, I might be able to push out a patch when the jam is over though. - Vin
