Really glad you liked the gameplay loop, thank you for such a well-thought out comment, I very much appreciate it!! There's a bug with the bug logic (heh) because I wrote all the bug squashing code into the Spade Tool rather than the bug object itself. For some reason, it only affects like 25-40% of runs and seemingly at random; re-factoring that code was one of my big to-do's for this jam but I never got around to it, oops lol. Planting under the tool icons was another one I should have fixed, thanks for the heads up. Gonna check you submission out now!
