First 5 min review. love the visuals and the transition effects! I keep forgetting that first thing to do is check the shops and buy some equipment. Longsword is the way! I didnt get a chance to try an armor one instead. But man getting pwned by a slime before I figured it out made me feel like a weakling! Felt good to get revenge on a rat at least in my next run. Still didn't make much progress because I got softlocked at the small hut. I'll definitely try again and see if i ccan bypass the hut or if it was a key location. Very well done and felt so authentic to the dungeon crawler genre! Great work

Really fun little dungeon crawler! I'm extremely grateful for the "JAM" mode you added that made it possible for me to fully complete the game ahead of leaving my review! My initial impression was that the combat seemed balanced enough. The extra bonuses from being on easy mode also meant that I was able to level up successfully enough to navigate all of the dungeons, though I suspect I did them out of order: 1) West Cave, 2) North Cave, 3) Deep Forest, and 4) Big Castle. Amazing art and sound, and my only notes are interface-related:
- Switching between move mode and other modes felt a bit clunky. I'm assuming this is similar to how other games have handled this kind of movement, but I'd be curious if there would be a better way to streamline movement/menu switching here
- Opening a chest with a full inventory makes that chest unopenable after using an item to free up the space in your inventory; I needed to reload a saved game to get these chests to work again
Amazing job here! This one was addictive to play and fun to finish. Thanks for making and sharing it!
Amazing job on this! The only issue I had was after I died I selected 'load', and if I exited the menu, it would resume the game at 0 hp, and I could move around and play the game like normal, except the enemy I died to would still be stuck in the same spot on the screen until the next encounter. I did this after I died to the knight, and I assume I was supposed to get the Best Key after the fight, but I didn't get anything and was basically soft locked. After I reloaded the page I was unable to replicate it, so it might've just been a fluke.
Other than that, the game itself was really fun! The music and sound effects were great, and the artwork was amazing. I was reading the discord the other day too, and you've got some crazy dedication to finish this in one night, (and morning, technically). I hope you were able to get a lot of sleep after all that!
Thank you for the catch. I fixed it (along with two other minor glitches I found and I added some post-victory dialogue for the people in huts). What happened was there was supposed to a control that says if the game is paused or not. It turns on when you 'pause' the game and off when you resume. It did not shut off, which is why the OPTIONS and LOAD GAME pages would go back to the game instead of the menu. This has been fixed! :)
So, IF you feel up to finishing off your RPG journey through the lands of Tenor, you should have no problems now. Thanks for the find! Credit is posted on the page.
