this is SO cute! i love the art of it and i love the puzzles. it was a refreshing take on dying to assist your living body. i loved that there was a little ghost maze and that heights actually killed you!

Thank you for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

A fun little puzzle game with a whopping 10 levels for a jam! It wasn't too hard, and the characters moved at a nice pace that wasn't too fast nor too slow! The aesthetics were charming, especially the little portrait changing when you swap between the person and the ghost, and I liked that they helped each other escape the mansion! And level 10 was really cute because I was expecting to start as the human, but was actually the ghost blending in with the portait!

Overall, a very cute and simple puzzle game to pass 10 minutes with. Puzzle games are something I wish to see a lot more of, so I hope you continue to make games in the future! Amazing job! <3

Puzzle games are always welcome, I like them and they are fun :)

The possessing stuff is creative and good to see an area antighost to make it a more difficult, there is a problem with the zone, where if you unpossess something, you get a few seconds of invincibility and you can touch and go across of this kind of zone, making level 10 very easy

Also I found that when you pile objects in level 9, there can be a bug where you can possess 2 objects at the same time. Outside of those 2 point, the game is ok, I didn’t find errors, I like that the portrait changes based on who you are controlling, the dark levels can be tricky but aren’t bad, but level 8 you can go around as a ghost and skipping the usage of lamps because you ghost have light and can learn the path. I like that windows display light and the art can be a little bit cute

I think 10 levels is a good amount for a jam and it was a small and nice experience, and congrats on finishing a game for the jam!

Thank you for the feedback, I did know about both the bugs but I sadly didn't really find time to fix them in the end. When it comes to the ghost having a light that was intentional I wanted players to be able to map out the level leaving it open for skilled players to skip the lamps.

A short but fun game! I liked how you need to use each character to get through the level. Congrats on the project!

If you have a moment, I’d love if you could check out mine too! Play it here: https://kaijota.itch.io/graverun

I have an affinity for puzzle games and this one had a nice balance of difficulty. I did think the possessed objects could be moving a little faster, but that's pretty much the only complaint

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Super creative! I loved the concept, and that every level felt genuinely different from the last. I wished there was one level that really tied all of the different concepts/puzzle pieces together at the end, but I still had tons of fun!

Developer

Thank you for the kind words, it would definitely have been nice to have some extended last level to tie everything up, I sadly just didn't find time for something like that.

Really good game, the puzzles were very creative and fun! The art was pretty cute, a good stylistic compromise given the time limit.

Great job!

actually enjoyed the mechanics + puzzles really much, only annoying thing was that it wasnt possible to adjust the music volume

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it :), the music was a bit of a last minute decision so I sadly didn't get to add any volume settings.

Cool game! I haven't seen this take on the theme yet, even thought it matches so perfectly. Also really fun and interesting puzzles which kept me engaged the whole time!

Oh hey we have a pretty similar game lol

I liked being able to possess objects to move them on the buttons
I feel like the visuals could be improved, though

Developer(+1)

We did have a similar game yeah, i guess great minds think alike. I do wish I found more time to work on the art but sadly that didn't happen.

This was really fun, very neat mechanic. It lets you get creative and I could totally see an expanded game being made from it. I also loved the assets lol, they were very cute.

I did find a bug when you possess two items that are on top of one another (the lamp and the crate), you possess both and control both at the same time.

Developer

Im glad you enjoyed the game. I did know about that bug but i sadly didnt find any time to fix it.

Although it looks like a prototype (which is very fun, considering you had such little time to put it together), the concept is great.

The idea is phenomenal, the puzzles are very well designed and the music is fantastic (some more variety would be great).

I think this game has a lot of potential. Good job!
