Just tried out the new version and it broke my save... oh well, at least I have screenshots of my creations :)

For the sewing part I had real trouble with that to start with because when I turned the cloth it would also often sew forwards which doesn't work when doing the new, much more prevalent, ninety degree corners... to fix this I switched to keyboard to go around the corner but even then it would occasionally stitch one extra stitch when I turned the corner, even without touching the mouse or space bar! Also switching between mouse and keyboard would, again occasionally, cause weird glitches, maybe the system to realign with where the mouse was (even if it hadn't moved!) but I kinda had to put up with it to handle the turn and stich issue... (yes, this is sometimes an issue doing low speed high angle corners on a real machine but ninety degree corners on a real sewing machine are a doddle! :D

I also tried out putting some piping on the arm holes on a dress... oh dear! There doesn't seem to be a back button so misplaced pins can not be redone unless they were the last pin added, the movement system and the control system seem to overlap and the tutorial system was not clear about how they worked so I was stuck trying to fix the piping and not being about to try to start again or fix misplaced pins caused by not being able to see around the sides of the arm hole properly... to be fair I think I might have picked the worse place possible to try this as you really need to side from front and back and above and below! It's a shame as this mechanic seemed overall a brilliant addition - I guess it just needs a bit more time to refine it like the huge improvements with the basic fabric cutting and stitching! :)

I've yet to try buttons or ribbons but they seem like they be simpler unless you go full on realistic on them! ;)

Oh, I should also mention I love the new dress type approximation in the dress design notebook; it makes it a lot easier now that there are so many more options!

(I guess if I was forced I would also mention that the fabric cutting is a little too handholding for my taste now that you can adjust things having cut things out but I guess recutting pieces is a real thing so fair enough! ;)

Thank you for all your work and we really appreciate any more you're willing to do! :) <3

Since we've taken more time with this new version we have a few more suggestions that might help...

We noticed that the complexity of the huge ruffle dress is exacerbated when making multi-colour designs by the difficulty in working out which piece should be made with which fabric (see other comments for other people who have had this problem). Can I suggest that it be possible for the player to mark the pieces with a colour or, easy for the player and more smooth in terms of game flow, that the colours the player marks in the notebook for each piece be transferred to the pieces used for cutting; this would allow players to tell which piece is which without needing to understand the word order that is currently the only clue!

It might be helpful to tell the player in the tutorial that the notebook contains all the previous dresses you have made as well as the fact that you can recut pieces on the cutting table from the same or different fabric so that you can try them on the mannequin and then remove them and recut them... unless you have sewn any of the surrounding pieces... that includes if one of the pieces wasn't there yet (placing the missing piece instantly locks it in place - kinda counter intuitive!

We had one case of the back button disappearing on the cutting table... not sure what caused it but we had cut some pieces out and wanted to go back and check which pieces went where but were unable...

Also when placing pins for piping or lace clicking off the edge of the fabric means the pin is not placed where it is shown but this makes placing these items very difficult and requires a good view of the edge of the fabric to place the pins so close to the edge (where a lot of this sort of thing is going to be placed...) maybe it could be made that pins are placed as close to the cursor as possible that is still on the fabric (as it seems that is how the pins are displayed :)

Thank you for all your work and I hope these comments / suggestions are helpful in suggesting useful directions for effort in improving this game yet more - it is only because we are pushing the limits that we are running up against these things of course. Thank you <3
