I am not like most players.  I normally try to buy the game again, with every update.  Unfortunately, the last time I tried to do that, Itch would NOT let me buy the game again.  The said I already bought it.  That also means that I could not tip that developer, which was far more effective than Patreon in many cases.  Let's face it.  Giving $5 per month for four months is not as effective as giving a tip of $30 after four months.  But now, I am not sure if I can tip more than once.  This entire thing is really starting to piss me off.  Especially since I already support a LOT of developers on Patron.  I cannot support them all and Patreon makes checking my monthly bill for support a complete nightmare.  I cannot tell where any of the money is going.

I can absolutely understand that frustration when supporting multiple devs through subscriptions, which is why I didn't want to dive into the Patreon subscription model. I would like to sell the beta versions directly on itch, but with how the statistics for itch traffic looks like now compared to before this summer, it just doesn't make sense. I feel like I have to go the Patreon route with Neuro/Splice.
