I finished the blacksmith's mission a while ago. I think there must be something you missed if it is telling you to wait. Something else you need to complete. I also think you need to finish the blacksmith's mission before you can go to the capital. I have not gotten to the capital because the game was not developed that far yet.

This game is good enough that I actually wrote a review (something I never do). A real pain I might add. This game is fantastic in every respect, but especially the story and the renders. It is rare to find this kind of quality anymore. If there was ever a developer who deserved support it is you 🙂.
I posted this on "Part II" page also, but I am a bit confused. Right next to the "buy now" button it says $3.00 USD but when you click on the button, the price shows $10.00 USD. I normally do "tip" the creator but now I don't know what the REAL price is 🤔. This actually stopped me from buying the game. At least so far.
I can't say much about the Android version, because I cannot see well enough to even use a tablet to say nothing of a phone 😆.
Discord is great for interacting with fans, getting bug reports, suggestions, help from players and even other dev's. Files can be uploaded by users to help with many aspects of a game. I help 8+ developers through discord. It can also be a HUGE time waster as I well know, from being on more than 80 discord channels 🙄.
Sound effects are a little tricky to add to animations as I am sure you will find out. There are some tricks to actually sync this, but they are beyond my expertise... so far 🤓.
I will be looking forward to the SubscribeStar. SubStar can be annoying, but games are quite expensive to make and everything helps 🤑.
I was finally able to finish this game 🥳. A small miracle considering how busy I am. It was fantastic (and funny as hell). I was not on your discord before, but I will be soon. This is about discord number 90 so I better stop soon. It is hard to keep track as it is 🙄. Howl rated this game #3.
Of the games Howl recommended, I would rate this #1. I think I have played twelve of his so far.
Congratulations on good progress. I am pretty tolerant of fetishes, although I draw the line well before scat 😒. There are far more interesting fetishes that that 😛. Of course it is difficult to please everyone. Lastly, for those who are not in the USA that is about 20°C average. Unbelievable for December in California 👀.
Not only is this possibly the best game ever made IMO, it is also now finished! That is a feat in itself.
It seems that almost no game ever gets finished anymore and this game is much more complex and fantastic than most others out there. It shows what can be accomplished if the developer is dedicated enough.
Unfortunately I have not been able to play yet 😒.
I help a lot of developers in many ways, but also with bug fixes and proof reading and that list is pretty long.
That takes about 6 hours a day, 7 days a week.
I am also in the middle of another game which I play in what little spare time I have.
As soon as that game is finished, I will be able to get your yours.
I really wish it was sooner, but it is what it is.
I will definitely let you know how I like it, since I can never keep my mouth shut 😝.
That is absolutely correct about the fact that some people will often not notice fewer renders. But the only time I do NOT notice each detail of what happens on the screen is when the story below is so badly written, that my brain spends it's time trying to correct it. That is NEVER a problem with your game. I WILL notice fewer renders, but whether the fewer renders turn out to be significant remains to be seen. I suspect I will get over it, because for me, the story is by far, the most important thing.
Sadly, I know exactly what you are talking about, and why (in your PS). I can understand wanting to reduce your workload which I can already tell, has been a LOT. I have played a lot of games, and analyzed most of them. That is why I know how much work this has been. I would just hate to see you compromise the quality that you have now. I can also relate to how exhausting this all is. For that reason, I really want to tell you to reduce your workload. I just hope I am not sorry for saying that. I am patient, but most players are not. Many want quantity over quality (or both which is unrealistic). From what I have seen a "bigger" AVN is often bigger, because they have learned to cut more corners. That is not always true but sadly, more often than not.
It was a small miracle I was able to pay for this game. First Itch wanted my birthday, then PayPal wanted to text my phone, then PayPal wanted to send me an email also. Ahhhhhhh!😵💫 It is a good thing I am dedicated 😆. All good in the end 🙂. I really do not like PayPal, but I know they are the only thing that works in some areas.
I realized I had wish listed TLC a long time ago. Have I said how much I hate Steam? I have only one game there, and that is because I got the developer on Steam. I am not sure what you mean about Patreon being on it's way out. I hear a lot of rumors, but none of them are true. At least for me, nothing there has changed at all, other than no one going on review for nearly a year, or more. For some developers, it seems to be the ONLY thing making any money. If that money is less, it is more likely due to the fact that everything (at least here) has gone up more than 20% in cost. It makes supporting very difficult 😢.
Well that is good news.
Hopefully by Christmas, I will have time to play again 😢.
Making money off of games is exceedingly difficult and lately it seems even harder than ever.
It really helps if the cost of living in your country is low. You have almost no chance otherwise.
I have always liked this game a lot, and fortunately Itch has not stopped me from buying it again, despite the fact I have bought it three times already (they have blocked some games).
I intend to buy it again with every update.
There will always be players who exploit developers by never paying for any games. Is that better than credit card companies or Patreon? I know this may be a difficult concept for people who are not deeply involved in game development but making games is VERY expensive. I choose to support many developers so players who cannot afford it, still get games. That is also my choice. If you get a game for free because of that, I am fine with it, as long as the game does not die.
I will try to be diplomatic since it seems that more than 98% of the gaming community is unaware of what is going on. This is no surprise due to the fact that most people do not want to read a bunch of legal documents full of mostly BS. Patreon does not want to censor anything. The executives want to stay out of jail and keep Patreon from being shut down. Both are possible if they do not follow the existing laws where they are located. Patreon could get away with a lot more before Apple started going after everyone. Not because Apple cared about censorship but because they were not making any money off of games. If you have not followed this for years, you would not realize that most of this information has now been legally covered up by Apple. Apple was there, messing with things way before collective shout. None of the censorship comes from directly from Patreon. They have been forced into it.
I know I said I would buy this game again with every update. Well, Itch may not let me buy this again with the next update when it comes out, since I bought it 3 times already, but fear not. I have created another identity, just for this, and it is virtually untraceable. Different name, email, domain, and different payment method. It also works great to hide from trolls 😂.
Had I known how much fun this would be, I would have given you more money, Wattson. I proofread a lot of games, and adding a few of these makes soooo much difference. Since I am also responsible for credits in those games, I will certainly add you (and the link here if I can). I know you are in a few other places, but this link to Itch seems to make the most sense.
It is also pretty easy to fix the bugs in this game you made (and there are a couple). This is especially easy if you have RenPy images available. Then you can make it look as if it was designed the right way 😉.
I am pretty sure you know who I am from the zone. It seems that I cannot even buy this game right now 🙁. I can only download it for free, which was NOT my intention for being here. Making these games is VERY expensive. I know you think you are still at the armature stage, but I have seen games that are SO much worse, that are considered professional. I do know there is a problem with your phone sequences. I cannot see much of one half of the conversation. I am not a fan of phones in games anyway, but they do have their place. I could go on and on, and create a wall of text that no one wants to read. Mostly about how good the story is and why I like it so much. This is kind of another reason that discord would be a good idea (although it can also be a huge waste of time 😂). It would also be good to have a Patreon link here on Itch. Unfortunately the way things are lately, adding that might put you into "review". Itch is now forced to review nearly every change to the main page as far as I know 🙄.
I will admit that I was slightly confused also. The Itch notification made this sound as if it was an actual game update, which I knew it was not. I would have heard something on Patreon or discord first, I would think. Maybe in the title it would be better to say Devlog. Some of us are not smart enough to read the fine print 😂.
I will repeat what I said on Patreon, because people should see it. At least you had the courtesy to tell it like it is and explain what and why it is happening. A few developers just disappeared (from everywhere) with no explanation of any kind. Just kept collecting money and stopped making anything at all. Not one word. The worst one was well over a year. I really hope you can survive in this shitty environment and I will be watching everywhere to see how things are going.
