yekkusu  I want to be honest and provide constructive feedback if that's ok with you guys. Again, this is just my opinion and in no way do I mean what I'm about to say  with ill intention. I'll be rating this VN 5/5 stars though because I don't want to affect your overall score, but I want to share my thoughts here:

Things I liked this VN:

The plot and setting

The characters

The art and design

The soundtrack is nice and cozy

Things I didn't like and which I think could be improved or tweaked a bit:

I don't know that much about programming, but I really don't like the engine you chose to design this VN with. I don't know whether this is an engine or optimization issue but as soon as I execute the game it consumes almost all of my PC's resources, this is something I haven't experienced when running visual novels on Renpy or Unity.

The text is too small , I wish I had the option to change the size.

The fastest text speed available feels slow.

I wish I could press a key to skip dialogue instead of having to click the skip dialogue option (at least I couldn't find which key does this, and tried all of them)

My main criticism. The writing isn't bad at all, and,as  I said before, I liked the plot so far. I do think, however, that the pacing is a bit slow and the prose feels too descriptive for my taste.

Some things you detail, should maybe be shown instead. I personally don't like exposition that much, and maybe we get too much information and description about certain elements that you might consider opting out, so the plot can flow more dynamically.

That's it, please I don't want to offend you, I'm simply suggesting that some pieces of information might work better if you offered it through dialogue between characters.

Looking forward to the next build!

Hello there, thank you for your input.

I have read your feedback, and I understand your concerns. Godot was chosen to be used for this Visual Novel for the same reasons you have mentioned: I have played visual novels in both Unity and Ren'py that had FPS Drops, and I wanted to have more control over the VN itself, if the project gets too huge, there's a huge chance of being very hard to fix typos later on with how Ren'py organizes scenes, and Unity is paid at the end of the day and very annoying to work on.

About your considerations on the system, I know there are some missing features and I will code them into the game as Patrons eventually start voting on them in the future, but skipping with a key and other small features are added to the roadmap already :)

I will keep in mind the writing and make sure it's less descriptive if not needed. Eventually, the game will have hand-drawn backgrounds, so  I hope those can help.

The text size changing is a thing I'm considering, but that would mean a reworking of already written and added text into the game, which can take quite a lot of time, so I will probably also add a feature that allows you to change the text size and add more speed for text scrolling, too. These will eventually be implemented, so thank you for your feedback!!

No, I should be the one thanking you.

You see, I have two projects on Godot right now, but this one is the only one that actually works with multiple characters. Thanks to your input I was able to see a memory leak situation that I'm already working to fix and release here the fix right away, but essentially the Characters were not being "removed". This would essentially create a situation where, whenever I hide a character his "node" still exists in the scene, forever.

This was fixed, and I already checked that the memory stays stable now.

However, Godot will still slowly build up RAM just like any other game, so as you play the memory will get more usage because that's just how Windows works, but I already made sure into the game that these resources won't be recreating themselves forever. :) An update will be added here shortly so try to download the game again in a few hours.

Thank you for your input again, and for giving our project a shot. :3
