It was really hard to control on my machine. I wanted to grab the dice and put them into that funnel thing and the hand would sometimes miss the die I wanted to hold. I love the concept of needing to be strategic about how many dice you use for each target you smash! This had a D&D vibe so I personally feel it would have shined and worked better in a D&D or Shadowrun setting (but I might be biased) and it has A LOT of potential. Like if you need to pick dice for multiple enemies and be stingy or deliberate to minimize how much damage you receive. Very cool Mathy/Statisticy/RNG game. Could even be worked into PvP well.
So I love the dice loading mechanic! If it was an oldskul turn-based fantasy/sci-fi/fiction CRPG where you need to place dice on the moves of your characters to power them up I would buy this game.
The mechanic is so solid of a concept if balanced well (and I know there are similar things).
I also love the vibe and the theme you are going for, it feels like that game Privateer, the original one.
But I don't know if that worked well personally with your dice concept.
Oh, and the art and music are really good but the "enemies" are hard to see, maybe add GUI radar elements to the ship that display them clearly.
If you need more feedback about the control issue I'm facing and want me to record a video or something, let me know! Great work on the art and music, and a fantastic game mechanic idea!
