As for the skipping that was intentional. I was trying to use fast text to help convey the emotion in certain scenes. Was that terribly annoying? I think it works really well in the mirror smash scene, but everywhere else it might not do what I was wanting it to do.
i think it's because there are also pauses in some sentences. so i'll click to finish the sentence and at the same time it'll suddenly skip itself so i'd have to go back. what i would recommend is to leave a 1 or 2 second pause at the end of the sentence before you skip it, so the reader at least has a chance to read the sentence before it disappears.
