Why did you have to stop supporting Android 😭😭😭

Even with the file size being large, they could still have kept it going. Android users could use their home internet and PC to download the apk and then transfer it to the Android.

Or use a download manager to make it easier to download to Android, most keep it going for a while and save it's progress so the download doesn't have to be started all over again.

I'm currently playing a 6 gb apk on my phone so I don't see the issue with memory or storage being a good reason to end the apk version.

Yes, I assumed this was common knowledge.

I prefer to use my download manager app. It has spoty internet connection with it not always connecting to sites but it garuntees my download will be completed eventually.

Do yourself a huge favor and look up F-Droid. It’s a third-party app store, and it’s amazing. All of the apps are completely free (though some do have in-app purchases), and many of them are open source. Unlike the default Google Play store, F-Droid is not monetized and is supported by grants and donations.

One of the apps you can find on F-Droid is Mitch, which is an unofficial Android itch.io app. I use it and I like it. It can be a bit finicky, but it does work pretty well.
