Just when I thought I had found a gem (love MC very much, rather than the typical unbearable type), the ending just WTF me to the core... Seriously, WHY?? I also love Duke the most (number 1) and don't really like or care to have Roy as LI, BUT STILL, he really died for no reason and out of nowhere!!

Or, is it just to postpone MC & Duke's wedding?! (seriously the only purpose I see) Can't believe it's not present when it should be the main point, btw... I don't like when story typically ended at just wedding (after-end epilogue much needed but rare, OTZ), but when it's not even available, I'm just =口=...

Conclusion: Start & Middle of game = unexpectedly so very good, BUT Ending of game = too much WTF & rushed & bad, so alas, the terrible ending spoiled the whole game. This is why I think demo is useless, as it does not tell about the disappointing ending, OTL

We assumed the last scene and conversation Roy had with MC were clear enough an indicator as to why he died, but we’ll keep it in mind to make things like that more obvious in the future.

No, I meant why the author killed Roy off for no good reason?? Other than to postpone the wedding of MC & Duke?! The way he died was just too speechless! It might have been better if he died protecting MC or something, at least there's a worth, rather than being completely worthless (just killed by the order of ALREADY deceased Queen, like, seriously?? I can vividly imagine how Ghost Roy will be throwing tantrum about it!).

Btw, was wondering about how MC discovered the original villainess was in cahoot with the Queen at the start, and so I was expecting scenes where MC will receive order from her and then it will be exposed to Duke etc., but NOPE, never receive any order through Cass after-all; the Queen only used Cass, and then somehow also just want to kill MC, = =...

Anyway, I really loved the game very much, but its ending was truly just too terrible and abrupt (I was dumbfounded); rather than getting MC & Duke's happy end, I felt it's more like just getting Roy's bad end, OTZ... I actually spared Cass (although her ending was off-screen), but I can't do anything about Roy's death? It's just such a bad joke! Oh my poor Duke...
