Will you open-source this? I feel like roguelikes are at their best when the community can immortalize them through ports, bugfixes, remixes and so forth.
Haha, I totally get where you’re coming from, and I 100% agree that open-sourcing can keep roguelikes alive and evolving. The thing is… I’m honestly a pretty terrible programmer 😅 The code for this game is a complete mess — unreadable, badly structured, and with zero comments. I’d be kind of embarrassed to put it out there in that state.
That said, for smaller projects or little tools I usually do share the source, so I’m definitely not against the idea in general. Just… this particular codebase is more of a crime scene than something others could actually build on!
