There's inspiration, then there's straight up copying. You ripped the PvZ models and made them voxel. You didn't even try making your own.
what i think goes over people's heads is that this is just for fun and a good chance to re-live old days with a twist, its not meant to hurt/demean PVZ, I'm sure the guy woke up and thought "this seems fun, ill make it and see." I get the whole copy right argument, but it really isnt that deep, I dont think hes gonna get rich off of this, so lets just enjoy it. A video i found literally says Plants vs. Zombies with a rougelike twist. Thats all this is. you seem the type to complain about any good thing in your life.
Don't tell me you actually believe posting these words here would actually bring down the game, or 'awaken' someone... Or you just love being the 'awakened' one.
You think you are protecting EA's interest while they don't even know you exist. And in fact EA is pretty much ruining PvZ's ip value in many ways, while its fan community is trying hard to protect it from fading out. Yes, fan-made content fall easily into copyright infringement, but company benefit from it.
people like you are the reason why copyright law is such bullshit, its a fan game and there are many MANY others just like it for just about every ip you can imagine, sure you could be like Nintendo and kill any fan content that even thinks about existing but like why? whats the point your just hurting your self when you do that. we need more people like Scott Cawthon who encourage fan games to be made
bro, the game is free you donate money if you want, it doesn't have microtransactions nor adds so you can literally play it without giving a cent, this game is legal even though it is PVZ remade in 3D (which is literally what the author said and, guess what? His video wasn't deleted from youtube because doing that is LEGAL) i couldn't care less about your opinion and if you think that this is inspiration or copying, but this isn't illegal by any norm, and if it were then this game would be banned from itch.io a long time ago.
