kinda ancient news but I basically hit a wall with development around the time the devlogs stopped, prototyped a football game over a long weekend, and the rest is history. It's still an idea I like but there's been so many games that have come out since that are both similar and better executions of what I was making at the time it really doesn't make sense to try and pick this back up. That's one of the big tricks with prototyping games, it's easy to get excited about the potential of what might happen, but the reality of development doesn't always match those expectations and things kinda break down from there. Going through that process helped me understand how to plan my games better and it has paid off with more successful projects now so I consider it an important step even if it failed to launch.

Well it's good to hear how it ended up helping your future games, sucks that a release matching the dev blogs didn't happen, but I get it
