I have been composing for 2 years now, but I wasn’t making enough compositions to get to the level you would expect from this time of learning, but I guess it’s just my pace. About vs Loneliness tho, I was really running out of creativity closer to the end of the jam and I really needed to make a final boss theme. So I took the inspiration from hollow knight’s boss theme, sealed vessel, the song is also very similar to the omori example you gave. I now see it too, that keeping the entire song more consistent would have been a better choice and I’ll note that for my future works.
