Salutations!
First of all. Onyx is truly adorable. Thanks for attaching a photo; I didn't know how much I needed it after the ending.
The presentation and art direction are flawless, the animations are stunning, the environment is unsettling and creepy, and the design for Luna is absolutely beautiful.
I think the gameplay is truly polished, and it's fun to play, a little difficult to master ngl, I had to play for a while before getting to finish it.
And of course, the story is so emotional. Just a few words were able to make me cry a bit.
I just had a note from my experience that I would love to share:
Overall, my final thoughts are that this was absolutely beautiful to play. The gameplay was really polished, and the art was precious.
This was a marvelous job.
Firstly, Onyx is adorable haha! The presentation for the game is really lovely I just think the gameplay itself needs a bit of work. I managed to get the enemies stuck at one point and they couldn't chase >.< I liked that you had the two types to change how you engage with them though! The actual controls and movement were all really fluid too :)
Really good effort!
Delightful usage of sound and atmosphere, excellent choices on the artist front. The spells are varied, and they have solid effects. The levitation mechanic is, I think, a bit too clunky to really take advantage here- it takes too long to move anything, limiting its use cases and making it a significant drain on resources. At one point, I just resorted to running in circles, using the levitation spell to move objects out of my way.
Cute! I enjoyed this game a lot. It wasn't clear in game how I could use telekinesis properly, I thought I had to use it to block the doors.
I really liked this! The Luring Seal is definitely the best spell, in my opinion.
